Licensed since 1979 or 1980, I was inactive for a few years between 1985 and 2000. Since 2000, have been interested in contesting, building radio-related things, working DX… there’s always something new. I also have other interests, but this is a radio website.
In 2008, was part of the VP5W CQWW CW team.

I’ve been the editor of the ARRL Contest Update since May 2015.
